Enter the 2025 Localicious® Art & Recipe Contest!

Are you ready to unleash your creativity and culinary talents? The 2025 Localicious® Art & Recipe Contest presented by Hawai‘i Gas is here, and it’s a chance for our youth to shine! Whether an aspiring chef, a budding artist, or someone who just loves celebrating Hawai‘i’s local agriculture, this is the contest for them.

Theme: “My Localicious® Lunch: Reimagine Your School Lunch Plate”

Entry Period: February 1 – March 15, 2025

Two Ways to Enter:

• Art Contest (Grades K–8): Budding artists are invited to create a colorful poster of their dream school lunch featuring fresh, local ingredients. Click here for art contest details and entry form.
• Recipe Contest (Grades 9–12): Aspiring young chefs are invited to share a healthy, original recipe featuring locally grown, raised, or caught ingredients for a shot at competing in a live cook-off! Click here for recipe contest details and entry form.

Prizes

Art Contest: Two categories – Grades K-4 and Grades 5-8.
The top three winners in each category will be awarded gift cards: 1st Place – $200, 2nd Place – $150, 3rd Place – $100.

Recipe Contest: The top three finalist will compete in a live cook-off in summer 2025.
Winners will be awarded cash prizes: 1st Place – $400, 2nd Place – $300, 3rd Place – $200.
