Get your taste buds ready! Hawaii Agricultural Foundation (HAF) is kicking off the fourth annual Localicious Hawaii campaign and working with more than 150 chefs throughout the state. During the month of March, participating restaurants will designate one or more menu items that incorporate locally grown, caught or raised products as Localicious dishes.
For every dish sold, $1 is donated for the expansion of Hawaii’s Veggie U educational program.
More people are interested in agriculture and farming than ever, and many are seeking to buy and eat locally grown food and specialty products. Mark your calendars! During the month of September 2016, Hawai‘i Agricultural Foundation is participating in Give Aloha, Foodland’s Annual Community Matching Gifts Program. Use your Maika‘i Card and our organization code number:78641 to make your donation to support agricultural education and Foodland will match 20% - 25%!
